Halo Three is Number One
For the year 2007, Halo three was the number one selling game. Halo number three is a great game too and deserves the hefty title of being the number one selling game and I should say the best game to play with.
I love love Halo three and all of its fantastic game play. I’m sure the world has the Halo three game if they own the Wii. Wii Play came in second and by not much. The Wii play is great too, I’m sure a lot of you would agree.
So for the month of December, it was pretty wicked for the Wiis because for every Wii that was sold, eight games had sold with it. I wonder how many Wiis were sold this month total? Well I’m curious how many Wiis were sold for the entire year.
Does anyone have this information???. By the way the IGN was where I got my info on the eight games and all that sniggity. I hope you guys are having a good January with your Wiis!! Good day and Happy year!
There were quite a few sales for gaming consoles in December. The market is really hot with the Nintendo Wii and DS and other stars such as Xbox 360 and the rising PS3.
The Nintendo DS ended up topping the chart for a whooping 2.47 million sales in the US. That's almost twice as many sales as the Nintendo Wii which came at 1.35 million. The Xbox 360 also had a great showing at 1.26 million. The Ps2 is still selling incredibly well at 1.1 million which always surprises me.
All three consoles seem to be selling quite well which should mean for a great 2008. Maybe we'll start seeing higher quality games coming out.
Pachter who is a super analyst has reported that the PS3 will take over in 2008. This is interesting news because the Nintendo Wii has done so well in 2007 while the Sony PS3 has gone off to a terribly slow start
However, Bluway is making great headways into dominating HD-DVD which means that more and more people will buy the PS3 so they can have the HD movie experience. Another large reason is that the price of the PS3 will fall to the just right price for many consumers.
I personally believe that Nintendo will have something up their sleeve such as lowering the price of the Nintendo Wii to compete with any PS3 rise.
Super SmashBros brawl is a hip game for the Wii and I'm sure to get it on pre-order when it comes out. It's only about 20 bucks and this is the game I have been waiting for. This is the best game ever. Well it's going to be the best game ever. There is a load of adventure in this game that will sure to be a hit.

Nintendo got sued from a Pennsylvania company from violating their patent for a hand held game input apparatus and method. The company will probably get rewarded money and compensation for all the legal action. Nintendo is a big company ( obviously) so they are probably going to get a fair share.
I don't know more details of what was violated and why this lawsuit is coming about legally but it looks to me that maybe this could be another company out to get a big corporations money. It seems kind of fishy that Nintendo coyed this company when they are such a large company and can get sources otherwise.
This is a question many people are asking after seeing Rock Band being released to the PS2, PS3, and Xbox 360. Wii owners did get Guitar Hero III (with problems), but Rock Band just takes it to another level.
If you haven't heard, Rock Band lets you play even more parts instead of just the main guitar. You can be a singer, drummer, and a bass guitar and play all together. This makes for quite a stunning experience.
The CEO of Harmonix, Alex Rigopulos had shown excitement on putting Rock Band on every gaming platform, but we haven't heard anything yet. GamePro recently took news that there are no current plans, which is unfortunate, but we still have hope.
The Nintendo Wii is getting more and more press everyday. The holiday craziness has just ended but that hasn't ended the shortage problems. However, this isn't the only issue the media are covering about the Nintendo Wii. CNN recently covered how the Nintendo Wii is making Rehab a much better experience for many people.
The feature had CNN's Dr. Sanjay Gupta cover all sorts of aspects about the Nintendo Wii. The feature was well put together and really shows the power of the Nintendo Wii over other consoles. This is bringing even more press to the Nintendo Wii which means those shortages will keep going.
