In a recent RSS feed, we got a amusing title “Wii Fit Jams: Music to exercise to!" After reading that, we were also fascinated to play the music when playing the Wii games. Actually many of them actually do play music when they games.

We can understand the reason they are playing it. With Wii also background music is fit. Few of our friends actually play some of their collections. They play all the time and with each game. We just need to check if the only ones whom we are thinking them are mad!

Last week Laurent Fischer had disappointed and drawn anger for many people by commenting that only “geeks and otaku” were the ones who cared and gave some thought to the storage difficulties faced by the Wii system.  His comments drew flakes not only form Nintendo fans but also from the rivals.

Jaffe David the creator of God of War games was amongst the reputed people who condemned Fischer’s comments. Jaffe in his explosive blog blasted Fischer for all his past comments as well. To control the situation Fischer immediately released a public apology.

Wii on Facebook 06/10/2008

The hugely popular social networking portal Facebook has a new Application. This new Facebook application is developed by Sam Lu which allows Wii gamers to stay in touch. The unique features of this application are that it also lets you have your Wii number and certain Friend Codes associated with the games present in the library.

This Wii application Facebook is a great tool for gamers who are also hooked on to Facebook. This way, they can not only stay in touch but also exchange tips on gaming and discuss their gaming preferences and strategies.

All you people who want to keep your families always on their toes and also fighting fit, go get the Family Trainer or Active Life: Outdoor Challenge. This is a game developed by Namco Bandai and allows you to jump in real time and real life. It is not like Wii Fit in keeping tab on your balance and weight, but it does have a touch of reality in it.

You can choose to jump inside the game or go outdoors and jump for real on a trampoline. This is just like what you would do in Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Games.

Now Aerosmith may not be popular with many gamers, but Guitar Hero: Aerosmith is an interesting game. There are quite a few tracks that are available in the game and can be readily played. Joystiq reviewed the game and found out the many cool tracks were really there for playing.

Guitar Hero: Aerosmith is like GH3 and it has built the likeness of its characters to popular rockers quite convincingly. The game also has a story mode in which you can follow the life history of the rockers, can play their hit songs (and lots of them!) and even indulge in some great songs from other rock groups.

Ubisoft is about to release it very popular and successful Prince of Persia game on Wii. But looking at previous track record of the company, it is difficult to say if this otherwise successful game will be well developed for Wii.

Wii gamers are not sure if Ubisoft will do a good job with Prince of Persia on Wii and therefore, many are sceptical about buying it. Prince of Persia has otherwise done very well in other mediums of gaming. It sequels have been successful too. SO what do you think about these speculations? Can Ubisoft do it?
