Euro gamer has finally decided to port Telltale’s new adventurous game, Wallace and Gromit’s Adventure on the Wii. They seem to be so much confident about doing this that they have even put a Wii icon in the image on the first page. This Wii icon links to the main article. Euro gamer will be releasing the game on PC and some console, so why not the Wii. This decision was basically taken looking at Telltale’s last two games, Strong Bad’s Cool Game for Attractive People and Sam & Max which were ported on the Wii. Of these, Strong Bad did pretty well as a Wiiware game. Two Wiiware Manga Services for Japan 12/28/2008
The Wiiware manga service’s demo was offered by publisher Shonen Jump which was named as Mangaon, branded with the name of the publisher’s online manga site, Jump land. All this was declared in the Jump Festa Event. Posters in the event describe that there will be some game element also. Before a game is finally ready for release, the developers of the game have to do a lot of research. Same was the case of the developers of Rainbow Studios, the THQ owned development house which developed Deadly Creatures. The developers regularly handled scorpions and spiders, brought them to the office and studied them. One of the developers was even stung by a scorpion. Infact apart from handling them they also ate some of them. Rock Band 2 released last week on the Wii, along with the last episode of Strong Bad’s Cool Game for Attractive People. There were other Virtual Console games, some retail releases and another WiiWare game. The start of the shopping carnival proved deadly at both Wal Mart store and at Toys R Us. Later it gathered all customers around its corner. Wal Mart has now the maximum customers who are willing to buy Nintendo Wii. A temporary Wal Mart worker died when a huge crowed rushed into the store to buy Nintendo Wii early morning and trampled him. Shopkeepers say the crowd was out of control. Walmart had promoted a healthy stock of Wii consoles on its website, Walmart.com and the retail giant has sold a lot of them. By last week Monday, it had sold tens of thousands of rare Nintendo Wii video games through its website as several other large retailers had put online notices that the product was unavailable. The official website of Tatsunoko vs. Capcom: Cross Generation of Heroes has launched and animated introduction sequence. This mind-blowing sequence can be viewed on the Wii instead of viewing it on the YouTube. Rather, importers have started receiving their copies of the game before the ship date and it is available on Play Asia also. The game has several narrated menus in which the Roll’s Rockman Battle and Chase theme song “Kaze yo Tsutaete” is set as the background music. Nintendo Keeping Cool 12/07/2008
