Nintendo, why do you have to make things so hard for those of us who want to buy a Wii (or two)?  Even though the system hit the stores in late 2006, fans everywhere are griping about stock shortages at their local retailers.  It's only a matter of time before someone posts a music video about it on YouTube (hey! our idea!)

The good (and most likely frustrated) folks at Gamestop are now saying that this production issue will continue at least through the end of the summer.  I know the Wii is incredibly popular right now, but didn't you guys plan on this?  At this point, one can only hope that this shortage is solved soon or else there may be a tearful Christmas ahead.
