Director Goichi Suda revealed that he was inspired to make No More Heroes while he was seated on the toilet seat. He mischievously compares the toilet seat with a porcelain throne that gave him success on No More Heroes. Now I understand as why we have a person on the toilet seat in the title. Must say Goichi has an entertaining brain.

Suda also mentions how Johnny Knoxville influenced the character of Travis Touchdown, while artist Katsuyoshi Fukamachi and assistant director Toshishiro Fujikawa worked hard on creating the game in eight months. No More Heroes has been one of the best Wii games of the last twelve months.
