Capcom’s Minoru Nakai has given an interview to Gamasutra on producing the controversial remake of the XBox 360 title, Dead Rising: Chop Till You Drop. The interview reveals external, game-related details as well as interesting behind the scenes stuff.
Dead Rising has players taking on the role of photojournalist Frank West. This man fights with the zombies and rescues the survivors in a shopping mall with huge numbers of the undead. The Wii version of the Dead Rising is due this February. It uses the modified version of Resident Evil 4 Wii engine. Capcom’s inhouse MT Framework engine for PlayStation 3, XBox 360 and PC titles has not been used this time in this version. The game features an RE4 –styled but loses the original photography feature.
