Nintendo Co. Ltd has outscored both Microsoft Corporation and Sony Corporation in selling fine gaming consoles. Nintendo’s Wii has outsold both the competitors ever since it was released a few years back. Every month its sale has proved dominant over other capable and advanced consoles. The Wii is more popular due to its engaging game play over Xbox 360 and PlayStation3 competing on many levels from polygons to high-def audio.
The Wii has a mass appeal where the other two do not. It also had an advantage maintaining a constant price of $249. Both Sony and Microsoft made numerous price drops and bundle reconfigurations to compete this price but the Wii remained constant at $249 and outsold the other two. Sony has been spending so much money in making the advanced Playstation3 that it may never make money off the console itself. Microsoft also loses less money per console than Sony.
